Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S10-series which was launched back in February 2019 has now started receiving the Android 10 beta update. The update will be made available to the devices viz. Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10e, and the Galaxy S10 5G models. In order to download the Android 10 beta for your eligible Samsung Galaxy Device, log on to your Samsung Member’s area via the app.
The latest Android 10 beta version comes with smaller notifications, an “enhanced Dark Mode,” along with other Android 10 features such as a Focus Mode.

However, Samsung Newsroom release does not mention in which countries the beta update will be available. Although a SamMobile report mentions that the update will be available in South Korea, Germany, and the United States. To find out if you are eligible to get the beta update, head over to the Samsung Members app and you should see a notification about the Android 10 beta. We advise you to take extreme care while installing beta software on a device which is your primary.
The press release states, “The new, smarter layout provides a visually comfortable experience. An enhanced Dark Mode helps users at night by intelligently adjusting the brightness of images, texts and colours on the display while reducing battery consumption. Smart Lock screen automatically adjusts the colour and format of the clock and notifications to ensure you can always see the text and icons clearly.”

According to official sources, in order to download the Android update, “Participation in One UI Beta Program requires a Samsung account. Create an account at https://account.samsung.com. The Beta Program is available only for certain devices, OS, and countries. (Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+/S10 5G and other devices with Android 10 OS) and the Beta Program period and compatible devices vary by country. One UI features may differ depending on the devices used.”
