The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening is an action adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy. The Links Awakening game has a single player mode and grew into an original project by the direction of Takashi Tezuka and the story written by the Minako Hamano and Kozue Ishikawa. The Links Awakening was the first installment in the Legend of Zelda series. It is one of the few Zelda games not to take place in the land of Hyrule, and not feature princess Zelda. The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening was the successful by critically and commercially. The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening DX was released in 1998 for the Game boy Color to the featuring color graphics, exclusive color based dungeon and Game boy printer with the unique enemies and puzzles based on color. This version of the game has sold more than six million units worldwide. The recreate of the game was released for the Nintendo Switch on 20 September 2019.
The Legend of Zelda Links awakening game is single player game mode focus on exploration and the battle. The players cross the overworld of Koholint Island with the fighting monsters and exploring underground dungeons. The Dungeons feature Nightmare boss character that the player must defeat and taking different forms in each Dungeon, because the Dungeons become larger and more difficult. The success earns the player heart container, which increase the amount of damage the player character can survive, and when the player’s heart container have been emptied the game restarts at the last doorway entered by the character. Link’s Awakening are required to the players to constantly keep switching out equipment and items based on the enemies or puzzles they faced. For the beginner, the sord and shield are already equipped permanently and game made use of some the pretty unique side scrolling sections. It’s still pretty unique for the series.
